First you'll need to have Drivers for CD/DVD ROM, that after install DOS to load that, or you'll not be able to install Windows 3.1/3.11 by CD ROM unless you have a Floppy Drive and some Diskettes to copy windows installation and install from it from those. By creating a FAT 2GB disk Partition, you can install MS DOS 6.22 and after install Windows 3.1/3.11. That depends on Hardware and today's hardware are not supported by MS DOS 6.22 that is needed to run Windows 3.1 or Windows 3.11 Workgroup. Windows 3.1 won't even run on most modern computers, because MS-DOS 32 was removed in Windows Vista and newer versions of windows. Modern computers do not operate in DOS 16 bit, or DOS 32-bit Mode, which is required by 3.1. But, if the PC is less than 14 years old, you are beat. If the PC originally ran Windows 3.1, it will work, but Device Drivers are nearly impossible to find.
